The July 2003 issue of Vanity Fair, she was named as one the year's hot teen celebrity stars. In 2004 Vega finished filming two films: Sleepover and State's Evidence. In the Lifetime television film Odd Girl Out as a cyberbully, she starred in 2005. In 2006, she appeared in a second TV-made film, Walkout; and finished filming Remember the Daze, which was released in a few theaters in April 2007. She finished filming Repo! It had a limited screening. Vega also voiced Christina in the animated TV series Unsupervised as well as a guest performance in Royal Pains.
